CONNECTICUT’S CONSERVATIVE BLOGOSPHERE

Since I mentioned a future blogroll on this site—and perhaps due to the spotlight on liberal bloggers’ Lamont victory—many of you are asking me: “Does Connecticut have other conservative blogs?”
Don Pesci’s Connecticut Commentary: Red Notes From a Blue State comes immediately to mind. “Red Notes” has some of the best writing of any blog in the state and Pesci’s columns frequently appear in local papers. His point-by-point rebuttals to pro-abortion op-eds earlier this year were particularly good.
Pray Connecticut is an important forum for the state’s evangelical Christians. Connecticut Conservative provides some good interviews and a place for conservatives to discuss the “horserace” aspect of state politics. YourNews2 and Radio Free West Hartford are also worth a look.
Most of the state blogs listed above—and over a hundred more representing a variety of viewpoints—can be accessed through ctweblogs.
