The legislative session’s end was just one of many items occupying our attention this week. Peter Wolfgang spoke to a packed house Wednesday night at the Evangelical Baptist Church in North Haven and conducted a radio interview this morning with WFIF 1500 AM (He also appeared on Josh Piteo’s “Get Real” show in Middletown recently).
I was in Washington, D.C. Wednesday and yesterday to participate in the National Marriage Protection Summit, an event held in anticipation of next month’s U.S. Senate vote to pass the Marriage Protection Amendment. I had the opportunity to meet with the staffs of several members of our state’s Congressional delegation. I was also privileged to join Focus on the Family’s James Dobson at a National Day of Prayer event.
