Philip Yancey, a best-selling evangelical Christian author and former editor of Christianity Today, will be speaking at Walnut Hill Community Church’s Bethel campus tomorrow night (Friday) at 7 pm, Saturday at 5 pm and will also speak at Walnut Hill’s services this Sunday.

Yancey, according to Walnut Hill, “will answer the question he posed in one of his books – ‘Where is God When it Hurts?'” through a forum involving not lectures but, rather, “an opportunity to hear stories of shared experiences surrounding the tragedy in Sandy Hook Elementary School.”

Yancey is one of the leading lights of American Evangelicalism, particularly in addressing matters like Sandy Hook. Family Institute of Connecticut highly recommends his Walnut Hill appearances to our members. More details here.
