Earlier this year, FIC Action joined human rights activist Raymond Bechard in helping to pass a law that will aid in the fight against human trafficking in Connecticut. Now, thanks to Hillside Community Church, Governor Malloy has declared October 13th Human Trafficking Awareness Day! From our friends at Citizens for Community Values-CT:

Hillside Community Church in cooperation with RunForFreedom, an organization that raises awareness about the atrocities of human trafficking, is sponsoring a 5K run at Rockwell Park (128 Jacobs St) in Bristol CT on October 13th at 9am.  Registration on race day is at 8am with the event starting at 9am.  You can register ahead of time at the following link.  Register here

More information can be found at www.hillsidebristol.org or www.runforFreedom.net.
