…GOOD NE

The “Needle” page of the Courant’s Sunday magazine also has a surprisingly good interview with the head of Rachel’s Vineyard, a ministry to post-abortive women in the Bridgeport Diocese:

Q5: Catholics for Free Choice is a 30-year-old pro-choice Catholic group that maintains that true “Catholic theology respects the moral agency of all women.” How do you respond to Catholics who want to hold fast to their faith while supporting a woman’s right to choose?
A: Well, perhaps those Catholics don’t really understand what abortion does to women, let alone what it does to the babies. It is killing the babies and destroying women’s lives. Abortion gets to the very core of why a woman was created. If someone claims to be Catholic and pro-abortion, they need to look at themselves and decide which stand they’re going to take because you can’t serve two masters.
